Project – Learning Centre for Tribal Youth

Through Learning Centre for Tribal Youth we provide computer training for youth living in rural tribal villages near Bankura. Through this project we aim to provide the opportunity and learning space to ensure improved education and computer literacy among the less privileged tribal youth.

Through Learning Centre for Tribal Youth we run 6 community-based computer centres where a total of 550 marginalised youth have access to computer training close by their home. Through the project we want to empower these youth with the right skills to enable them to become self-reliant and confident and better equip them for their future job or further studies. Access to computer training in this rural area is very rare and only a few learning institutions have computers.

Through the project we aim to develop a group of students who can become agents of change and develop awareness among the community regarding the importance of education and literacy.
